Thanks to funding from the U.S. Department of Labor, NMDCC is bringing a series of Health and Safety Training for Caregivers classes New Mexico. These courses are designed for caregivers serving persons who are elderly and those with disabilities. Content includes in-depth training on safe transfer of clients, prevention of bloodborne pathogens and worker safety. Full participation results in a Certificate of Completion.  Employees, employers and all levels of management are encouraged to attend.  Training is free at each location.

Would you like to host a Health and Safety training?  Are you due for a required training in these safety areas?
We are looking for locations throughout New Mexico.  Your organization can host, and if you cannot provide 40 employees, we ask you be open to other agencies and individuals joining your hosted training.  Trainings will run at a time convenient for the hosting agency. We ask you provide lunch, as well as snacks and beverages.  We will provide all materials and training.  We would love to partner with you!  Contact Amylee Udell at Amylee@nmdcc.org.

Would you like to attend a training or send staff members to a training?
See our Events Page for locations and class dates that include the words "Health and Safety" in the title.  Individuals can sign up online by clicking on the appropriate class.  Employers and agencies can contact us to register a class list of several employees.
